1 - Crown wheel:
Our crown wheel flashing, which is unique to us and
ensures water does not enter the yurt where it shouldn't.
It also gives an excellent finish to the yurt. Painted with
traditional designs on all inner surfaces.

2 - Crown Supports:
Decorated on one side with traditional designs. Only
authentic Mongolian yurts come with crown supports.
Although they take up more space in the yurt they are
essential if the yurt is to withstand high winds, heavy
rain and heavy snow loads.

6. - Lattice-wall sections:
Cut from premium quality larch and then steam bent
into shape the traditional way. All wall sections come
pre-treated with a natural oil based preservative to save
you the hard work of doing it yourself.

5 - Colours:
Yurts available in orange, red, light blue, dark blue and
green. On top of each base colour traditional designs
are painted in colours to complement your base colour.
It's then finished off with a coat of hard wearing
polyurethane. Plain wooden yurts and hand carved yurts
finished in yacht varnish also available.

4 - Door:
Another design that is unique to us. A very solid one
piece outer door with windows on either side in the
doorframe. Windows are made using 2mm thick
polycarbonate - roughly 30 times stronger than glass
and virtually unbreakable. Sold brass and stainless
steel fittings finish the look.

Horsehair & polypropylene ropes. In structurally
important positions we replaced horsehair ropes with
those made of polypropylene. However we do sell a full
compliment of horsehair ropes should you be after that
authentic look.

Layer 3 - Canvas:
This is the layer that keeps the weather out. The roof is
a seam welded 560oz PVC cover that is virtually
bombproof. The walls are covered in a heavy duty,
approx. 24oz natural cotton canvas. This combination
provides usability, reliability and longevity

Comes in four sections which cover the roof and walls.
Helps keep you toasty warm in the winter and super
cool in the summer. Edged with hard wearing nylon to
stop the edges fraying. A yurt is not a yurt without felt.

A one piece cotton liner that cover the roof AND walls.
The liner helps brighten the inside as well as stopping
your felt lining from getting dirty. Is cheap and easy to
replace or you can do without it and have your felt layer
